Eligible candidates may appear in Walk-in-interview on Dec 5th, 2014 for post of Junior Research Fellow in DBT funded Project entitled: “Sequencing of Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae pathotypes for better management of bacterial blight disease in rice”.

Position: Junior Research Fellow (One)

Emoluments: 12,000+ HRA (for Non NET qualified) /14,000+HRA (for CSIR- NET-LS qualified) or 16,000/18,000+HRA (for CSIR-NET Qualified).

Essential:- Master’s degree in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average.

Desirable: - At least two years of research experience in use of biochemical/molecular biology/plant transformation techniques as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associate ship /Training/ other engagements.

Terms & Conditions:

Age limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on the date of interview. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules)

Interested candidates should report at 9.30AM in the lecture hall, NRCPB, LBS Building, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110012.

The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 5th Dec, 2014.

The candidates will essentially have to bring four copies of biodata as per format attached here, original certificates, self attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and copy of recent passport size photograph. Dissertation report/thesis should be presented to the Board.

Candidates already in employment should bring “No Objection Certificate” from the present employer.

Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

The positions are purely temporary, on a contractual basis and are initially offered for one year.

The period and duration of the scheme is tentative and the same may change.

The person employed will have no right to claim employment or engagement in ICAR at the end of the contract period.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

In case of any disputes, it will be resolved within the jurisdiction of New Delhi Court only.
