WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF PROJECT ASSISTANT

This is to notify that one post of Project Assistant in the Department of Life Science and Bioinformatics, Assam University, Silchar, Assam 788011 under DBT funded Twinning project for North-East region entitled “Characterization of tight junction proteins and use of phytochemicals towards restoration of tight junctional complex disruption as a possible treatment against cancer” will be filled up by walk-in interview.
The duration of the project is for a maximum period of 18 months as on date. The selected candidate will be entitled to a monthly emolument of Rs. 8,000/- (fixed).
Candidate should have passed M Sc. in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry in 1st class.
Interested candidates are requested to meet the PI on 12 November, 2014 at 1pm in the department along with all certificates and testimonials for the walk in interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/ service conditions of the University/DBT and continue for the duration of the project.
