WALK-IN INTERVIEW
RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Applications are invited on a plain paper for the above purely temporary position in CSIR- ES scheme entitled “Identifying biodiversity indicators of predictive value – focus on high altitude zone of Indian Himalayan Region”.
Eligibility: Ph.D. degree in Botany/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences or in relevant field with strong background in biodiversity related issues supported with publications.
The candidate must possess knowledge on biostatistics/mathematical modeling and/or other related fields. The emoluments will be as per CSIR rules.
Desirable: Experience of working on Himalayan ecosystems.
Tenure of the Project: Initially till 30th April 2017 or until the expiry of the Scheme, whichever is earlier. The tenure of the Research Associate shall cease from the date the Scheme terminates (appointment co-terminus with the scheme).
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates.

The interview will be held on 29th January, 2015 (Thursday) at 11.30 A.M. in the office of Dean, University School of Environment Management, G.G.S. Indraprastha University, Sector- 16 C, Dwarka- 110078, New Delhi.
Candidates appearing for interview should bring all original certificates (including statement of marks) in support of his/her qualifications. Candidates have to appear for the interview at their own cost.
