WALK -IN INTERVIEW (Unreserved under DBT Project)
The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit the outstanding personnel for the post of Senior Research Fellow in the following DBT funded project purely on contractual basis. Details of the position are given below:
1. Development of biparental population for mapping of leaf rust resistance gene and QTLs for 1000- kernel weight in wheat

Rs. 12000 + 30% HRA for Masters degree in Basic Science with NET qualification for lectureship OR Rs. 14000 + 30% HRA for Masters degree in Basic Science with NET and 2 years of experience
Essential: M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ Genetics / Plant Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences with NET qualification.
Desirable: Experience in use of molecular markers/ breeding in field crops and knowledge of Computer applications.
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF and 30 years for field assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC). The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially up to March 2016, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project whichever is earlier. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 13th February, 2015 at 10.30 A.M. in the Technology Cell, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012
The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data (signed), original certificates, and photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and a copy of recent passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. It may be noted that M.Sc. degree certificate either original or provisional is essentially to be brought while attending the interview. The candidate intending to visit for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, have to declare its name, designation, nature of duties and relationship, in writing so as to reach by 7 th February, 2015. If on the date of interview such declaration furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.
