Junior Research Fellow (one)
Rs. 25000/- + HRA for 1st two years and Rs. 28000/- + HRA for 3rd year (as per DST)
i) Essential: M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology/ Plant Biotechnology or M.Sc. in Botany/ Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Life Sciences
Desirable : NET qualification; Exposure to microbiological techniques and handling of molecular biology tools

Venue: INDIAN AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE Regional Station, Kalimpong, West Bengal- 734301
i. Age limit: 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ and women candidate as per govt. guidelines).
ii. The total duration of the project is 3 years and the positions are purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project. The renewal of the yearly contract is subject to satisfactory performance of JRF. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this institute as the positions are coterminus with respective Project/ Schemes.
iii. In absence of availability of NET qualified suitable candidates, if non-NET candidates are considered, the fellowship to him/her will be as per rules of payments to such JRF in other DST projects.
