Walk-in-interview will be held in the Department of Life Science & Bio Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata – 700032 on 11th February,2015 (Wednesday)at 2 P.M. for the recruitment of one post of Research Assistant in the DBT, Govt. of West Bengal sponsored Research Scheme entitled “ Identification of genes involved in the growth of Cryptococcus laurentii strain RY1 in nitrogen limiting condition ” under the supervision of Prof. Ratan Gachhui (PI), Department of Life Science & Bio Technology, Jadavpur University,Kolkata – 700 032.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Microbiology/any branch of Life Sciences with First Class (60%) marks.

Number of Post : One R

esearch Assistant Value : Rs. 16,400 per month (Consolidated)

Age : Not more than 32 yrs. (Relaxable upto 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidates)

Tenure : Till the termination of the scheme, subject to satisfactory performance.
