WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

The Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Senior Research Fellows and Young Professional-II in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at NDRI, Karnal.

1. ICAR Young Professional Scheme under Non-Plan in “LRC Section” under Dr. A. Kumaresan, Sr. Scientist, LRC Section, NDRI, Kanral.

Young Professional-II 01 (One)

Rs. 25000/- per month Upto January 2016

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Veterinary Science or B. Tech (Biotechnology 4 years degree) with molecular biology skills including bioinformatics.

Desirable: Experience in Micro array data analysis interpretation, Regular gene expression studies and other molecular biology techniques.

2. ICMR Research Project “Study of mechanism of probiotic action in persistent diarrhea in children caused by enteroaggregative E.coli-using a mouse model” under Dr. (Ms.) Sunita Grover, PS & PI, DM Division, NDRI, Karnal.

Essential Qualification: M.Sc/M.Sc (Hons)/ M.V.Sc /M.Tech in Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/Microbiology Biochemistry/ Genetics/Life Sciences or any other allied disciplines with two years research experience.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in the area of Molecular Biology/ Genetic Engineering/ Microbial Genetics etc and also to those having qualified NET (CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ARS).

3. NFBSFARA Research Project entitled “Early Detection of Pregnancy in Cow and Buffalo by Pregnancy Associated Proteins (PAPs)” under Dr. A.K. Mohanty, Senior Scientist, ABTC, NDRI, Karnal.

Rs. 16000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA for 3rd year for Post Graduate in subjects other than Veterinary Science Rs. 18,000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 20000/- per month + HRA for 3rd year for Post Graduate in Veterinary Science Upto 31st May, 2015

Essential Qualification: M.V.Sc/M. Tech/M.Sc degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Molecular Biology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences.

Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in the area of Recombinant expression of animal proteins, protein purification techniques and proteomics including handling of equipments like protein purification systems.

Age Limit: 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview. 21 to 45 for Young Professional-I & Young Professional-II. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules)
