WALK –IN-INTERVIEW It is proposed to fill up the following positions purely on temporary basis at this Institute under the ad-hoc project detailed below:-

1 ICAR–NPTC funded Project: Genetic Mapping of Salinity Tolerant Genes in Rice

Senior Research Fellow Two

M. Sc. degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Biotechnology /Botany with 60% marks

16000/- per month + HRA

35 Years for men 40 years for women 1 year

-Experience in molecular biology techniques

-Research experience in rice crop (designing field experiments, Germplasm characterization, data recoding and analysis)

-Knowledge of computer

3 ICAR - All India Co-ordinated Research Project on Palms (AICRP on Palms)

Senior Research Fellow One

First Class Master’s degree in Horticulture/ Agriculture/Forestry/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Botany preferably with specialization/dissertation in improvement or production Science of perennial crops

16000/- per month + HRA

1.M.Phil/Ph.D in the relevant subject, Publication in peerreviewed journals with impact factor experience in germplasm, genetics, breeding intercropping , field work, molecular biology. Knowledge of computer use, research in coconut, arecanut or banana

Terms and conditions:

1. The candidates called for interview are not entitled for TA/DA.

2. This Temporary appointment will be for a specific period and their services will automatically stand terminated either with the termination of the Project/Scheme or even before at the discretion of the Competent Authority. The appointment will not bestow upon them any claim for regular employment at ICAR – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Ela Old Goa.

3. The eligible candidate may appear for walk- in-Interview on 24-04-2015 at 10.00 a.m. at ICAR – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Ela Old Goa.
