The Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Research Associate/ Senior Research Fellows/Junior Research Fellows and Research Assistant in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. Essential: M.Sc/M.Tech in Microbiology/Dairy Microbiology/ Food Microbiology.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the area of handling of probiotics and lactic acid bacteria, preservation of bacterial cultures, fermented and fermentation technology, and hands on experience in probiotics and development of dairy foods. Preference will also given to those having qualified NET (CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ARS) and having one year research experience in the relevant area. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
3. DBT Research Project “Whole genome based SNP mining and development of breed signatures for dairy and dualpurpose indigenous cattle” under Dr. A.K. Dang, PS & PI, DCP Division, NDRI, Karnal.

4. DBT Research Project “Recombinant Expression of Proteolytic Enzymes of Lactic Acid Bacteria for the production of Bioactive Peptides” under Dr. J.K. Kaushik, PS & PI, ABTC, NDRI, Karnal.

OR First class master degree in Animal Biotechnology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry with NET qualified and minimum of two years experience in the area of Proteomics/Protein Chemistry AND Molecular Biology/Structural Biology /Bioinformatics.
Desirable: Working experience with software in the area of Proteomics, Network analysis, Structural Bioinformatics ad Linux OS.
SRF 01(One)

Essential: First class master degree in Animal Biotechnology/ Biotechnology /Biochemistry/Biophysics/Bioinformatics with research experience in the field of Proteomics/Protein Chemistry /Molecular Biology/Structural Biology/ Bioinformatics supported by Master Thesis work/research papers.
Desirable: Molecular Biology, Gene expression studies, Protein purification and characterization.
Age Limit: 40 year for Men and 45 years for Women in case of RA on the date of Interview. 35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview. 30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of Interview. 40 years on the date of Interview for Research Associate. 35 years on the date of Interview for Research Assistant. (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules)
