Walk-in-Interview for JRF Position
A walk-in-interview for the JRF position tenable for a period of three years or till the end of the project period in
the DBT, Govt of India sponsored research project (BT/PR12720/COE/34/21/2015) entitled ‘Programme
Support on Biotechnology Approaches for Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of Plant Wealth of
Western Ghats – Characterization, Recombinant Expression, Process Scale Up and Validation of Selected
Hydrolases from Native Actino-bacteria for Commercial Exploitation’ will be held at the Department of
Biotechnology, Alagappa University, Karaikudi 630 004 on 10 July 2015 (Friday) at 10.00 a.m.
Qualification: First Class M.Sc., in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology or equivalent from a
recognized university, preferably with research experience in the relevant area.
NET/GATE qualified candidates
will be given preference.
Fellowship: Rs 25,000 p.m. + 10% HRA for first two years and Rs 28,000 p.m. + 10% HRA for the third year.
Registration for Ph.D.: Selected candidate will be encouraged to register for Ph.D. programme.
