Applications are invited for the following purely project-based posts under ICIMOD (Nepal) sponsored project,
“Khangchendzonga Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KLCDI)-India”. Qualified
candidates may appear for a Walk-in-Interview on 6
th July 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at GBPIHED, campus at

Field Coordinator- 01
(Emoluments:

Manage/coordinate project team
to generate baseline information
on plant biodiversity/socioeconomic,
etc. Help team
building; coordinate with NGOs
etc, and in field studies. Prepare
periodic project draft documents/
reports/publications, etc.;
organize /facilitate trainings/
workshop, networking with
partners
Essential: Ph.D. in the field of Biological
Sciences/Ecology/ Forestry/Statistical modeling/
Environmental management, etc
Desirable: Quality publications in international/
national journals. Professional proficiency in
analyzing data, formulating research methods,
technical report writing; proven working experience
in International programs. Candidates desire to
work in difficult mountain/foothills/forest.
Field Researcher
(Biodiversity
Assessment)- 02

Age: Max 30 Yrs
Conduct field studies/surveys;
generate/compile/analyze
baseline field data on plant
biodiversity; contribute in
report/paper writing, and other
project work.
Essential: Master degree in Botany, Forestry,
Environment Science, Life Science, or relevant
disciplines.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates
having working research experience in Himalaya,
especially in plant biodiversity assessment/ecology/
taxonomy, etc; candidates desire to work in difficult
mountain/ foothills/forest.
