Walk–in-interview 

Walk-in-interview for one Research Associate position under National Agricultural Science Fund (ICAR) sponsored research project on “Molecular Crosstalk between defense pathways in rice: antagonism to synergism” 

A walk-in-interview is arranged on 15th July, 2015 at Agri Biotech Foundation (Opposite ICAR-IIOR) Rajendranagar, Hyderabad to recruit one Research Associate to work in the above said project. The position is purely temporary and coterminous with the project. 

Pay Scale : For Candidate with M.Sc. degree with minimum of two years research experience as evidenced by research publication in the relevant field Rs. 23000 +30% HRA For candidates with Ph.D. degree with research publications in the relevant field Rs.24000+ 30% HRA 

Age Limit: Candidates age should below 40 years for men, 45 years for women as on 01-07-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per ICAR rules. 

Essential Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Ph.D. or Masters Degree with minimum of two years research experience in Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/ Botany or M.Sc (Ag) degree with specialization in Plant Molecular Biology/ Plant Sciences/ Life Sciences/ Plant Breeding & Genetics 

Desirable : Experience in field of rice-insect or rice-pathogen interactions with knowledge and hands-on experience in plant phenotyping against BLB, Blast, Gall midge and other pests and gene expression profiling techniques. 

Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in interview.
