Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow to Work on DAE-BRNS funded research project (No. 35/14/59/2014-BRNS).

Duration of the project: 03 years

Title of the project: Enhancement of Lovastatin production using induced mutations in Aspergillus terreus.

Essential qualification: M.Sc. Botany (Marks obtained 60% and above).

Desirable qualification: Specialization in Mycology and Plant pathology, Experience in culturing microbes, maintenance of pure culture, especially fungi, familiar with analytical techniques like TLC/HPLC. NET/GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Emoluments: Rs 16,000 p.m. (first two years) and 18,000 p.m. (third year) + allowance as per the rules of DAEBRNS.
