The Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Research Associates/ Senior Research Fellows/Junior Research Fellows and Office Assistants in below mentioned project/scheme will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with the project/scheme. Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the area of handling of probiotics and lactic acid bacteria, and hands on experience in culture isolation, characterization, culture development and preparation of fermented of dairy foods.
Preference will also be given to those having one year research experience in the relevant area. Background of the Research project: Collection of fermented dairy foods samples traditionally produced and consumed in the cold dessert region of Himachal Pradesh i.e. Lahul-Spiti Dist. And Bharmore region of Chamba district, documentation of data related to samples, isolation of lactic acid bacteria and development of lactic cultures(s) for preparation of fermented milks.
