The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging Project Assistant for Project entitled “Development of Integrated Management Plan of the Thane Creek Flamingo Sanctuary 2016-25” purely on contractual basis for a period of six months. The EQ, DQ and other details of the Project Assistant is as provided below :
Project Assistant (two positions)
Essential Qualification (EQ) Master’s degree in Marine Science/Marine Biology/Life Science/ Wildlife Sciences/ Botany/ Zoology/ Environmental Science with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification (DQ) Six months research experience
Work description Conducting research activities and stakeholders meetings; data compilation and analysis; Report writing
General Conditions
1. The candidate should report by 0930 hrs for scrutiny of documents on 30th March, 2016 followed by an Interview on the same day at 1100 hrs. The Institute will not provide accommodation for candidates appearing for the interview.
2. Candidates should bring the duly filled-in application with attested true copies of testimonials of educational qualifications research experience, M.Sc./Ph.D thesis along with certificate of extracurricular activities, date of birth, mark sheets of all examinations etc. All original documents/certificates must be produced at the time of registration for necessary verification.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
