Walk-in interview for JRF opening in the project ‘Monitoring harmful algal bloom (HAB) along the coasts of West Bengal’

As part of the HAB project funded by the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India, there is an opening of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in the Integrative Taxonomy and Microbial Ecology Research Group, Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata [IISERK] to study and monitor harmful algal bloom forming communities along the coasts of West Bengal. Qualifications

Candidates with M.Sc. in Botany/Marine Science/Marine Biology/Environmental Science having some exposure in algal taxonomy and willing to undertake rigorous field work activities can appear for the walk-in interview. Fellowship and HRA as per MoES guidelines. The position will be initially for a period of one year but can be extended subject to satisfactory performance.

Interview
