Advertisement for the Post of a JRF in DBT funded project Date: 30th July, 2016

Applications are invited for ONE (1) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT sponsored, purely time-bound research project, entitled “Microalgal Biomass Production in an Energy Efficient Internally Illuminated Bubble Column Photobioreactor (IIBCPBR) For Biodiesel Production” (BT/PR13125/PBD/26/448/2015)

The appointment will be on temporary basis for a period of 18 months.

Nature of work: Culturing of microalgae, Operation of photobioreactor and its maintenance, Gas chromatography and FAME analysis, Collection of waste water samples from industries, maintenance of records etc.

Essential Qualification(s): M. Tech (Biotechnology) with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (OR) M.Sc /B. Tech in relevant areas with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with valid CSIR-NET/GATE/BET

Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years.

Age relaxation: Upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women and physically handicapped candidates

Emoluments: Rs. 25,000 + 30% H.R.A. pm

Note:

1. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated based on merit through email to appear for the interview at SNIST, Hyderabad and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.

2. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.

3. Preference will be given to the candidates having CSIR-NET/GATE/BET with prior experience of hands-on algal fuels research in a reputed lab with relevant publications.
