Experience – for the post of Associate Professor – minimum experience of eight years in teaching, research and / or industry in a position equivalent to the level of Assistant Professor / Lecturer. 

Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates should have cleared the eligibility test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. 

Desirable:

Experience in working on advanced instruments like Flow Cytometer, Confocal Microscope and Trinocular Microscope and other sophisticated equipments required for research work. 

Academic Performance Indicator (API), will be considered as per UGC (Minimum Qualifications for Appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards in Higher Education) Regulations.
