A walk in interview will be held on 27/10/2017 at 10:00 AM at the office of Institute of Advanced Study
in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati for the following posts under DBT sponsored project
“Advanced Level Institutional Biotech Hub”.
Interested applicants should apply in the prescribed
application format as given below and self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates should be
submitted during the interview. The candidates should carry with them all the original certificates and

Research Associate: 1 no.
PhD in Microbiology/ Life Science/ Biotechnology with specialization in microbiology with expertise in
NGS techniques. Candidates with experience on human gut microbial studies will be preferred.
Candidate
having experience of conducting workshop and training program will be preferred.
Candidates who have submitted the PhD thesis may also apply.
Junior Research Fellow: 2 nos.
MSc in Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with 1 year of research experience. NET (JRF)
qualified candidates will be preferred.
Fellowship: Fellowship will be provided as per the guidelines of DBT, Govt. of India.
No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the same.
