A walk-in-interview will be held on Tuesday, the 31st October, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Institute of Bioresources
and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal for selection of following suitable candidate under externally
funded project entitled “Screening and characterization of fresh water cyanobacterial repository for
carotenoids and vitamin B-12 for value additions and process optimization” under Department of
Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India funded project on contractual basis:
1 Junior Research Fellow-
2 (two) post.
Rs.25,000/- per month + 10%
HRA
(As per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-
09/2012 dated 21/10/2014)
or
Rs.12,000/- per month + 10%
HRA
Upto 30th July,
2018
M.Sc. in Microbiology,
Microbial Biotechnology,
Life sciences, Botany
with specialization in
Microbiology/Biotechnology.
Preferences may be
given to those having
work experience in
cyanobacteria/microalgal
research.
2 Project Assistant-1
(one) post.
Rs. 8,000/- per month fixed.
B.Sc. in biological
streams or Graduate with
basic knowledge for
handling of equipments.
Laboratory experience
will be treated extra
merit.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co- terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not
claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal, RCIBSD, Sikkim or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

4. The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow and Project Assistant shall be 35 years.
5. Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in interview with all original and attested copies of certificate at
10.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on 31st October, 2017.
6. Interim queries will not be attended.
