Division of Floriculture and Landscaping, ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi intends to recruit one Junior Research Fellow in the project “Genetic divergence analysis and DNA fingerprinting of Indian bred roses” funded by DBT, Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi. The details of the position are given below:

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) One Post 

Rs. 25000/- (Fixed) + 30% HRA per month (as per DBT norms) 

Essential: 1. M.Sc. in Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Genetics/Plant breeding/Life Sciences with NET/GATE qualification 

Desirable: Working experience with molecular techniques esp., PCR based molecular markers 

Maximum age of 35 years (Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST, women and three years for OBC candidates) on the date of interview 

Terms and Conditions 

1. The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for a period till March, 2018, which may likely be extended periodically subject to performance of the candidate. The candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. 
 2. The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 15-01-2018 at 11.00 AM in the Division of Floriculture and Landscaping IARI, New Delhi-110012. 
3. The eligible/potential candidates will have to bring original certificates, self attested photocopies of all the required certificates (Degree, Mark Sheet, working experience etc.) and a copy of recent passport size photograph. The original or provisional degree of award of M.Sc. is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview on the above mentioned date, time and venue. 
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for the Interview. 
5. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview. 
6. Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination of candidature.

8. The candidate intending to appear in interview has to declare the name, designation, nature of duties and relationship in writing, if any of his/her near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI.
