Kurukshetra Goyal Prizes and Rajib Goyal Prizes 2016–2017 

Announcement Nominations are invited for the Goyal Prizes and Rajib Goyal Prizes for Young Scientists for the period 2016–2017. These prizes are instituted to honour Indian scientists who have made a mark in research in basic and applied sciences. 

The Goyal Prizes are awarded in the following four disciplines: 

(i) Applied Sciences; 

(ii) Chemical Sciences; 

(iii) Life Sciences; 

(iv) Physical Sciences 

While Goyal Prize in each discipline carries Rs Two lakhs in cash along with a medal and citation, Rajib Goyal Prize carries Rs One lakh in cash along with a medal and citation. 

Nominations in the prescribed proforma along with supporting documents (seven sets as well as a soft copy) should be submitted to Prof. Rajnesh K. Sharma, Convener, Goyal Prizes, Department of Zoology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra 136 119 latest by 15 February 2018.
