National Conference on Recent Trends In Zoological Research In North East India

The “National Conference on Recent Trends in Zoological Research in North East India” will be jointly organized by the Department of Zoology, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong and the Zoological Society, Kolkata. The conference will provide a platform for interactions of young researchers/scientists with leading researchers of the country. Original contributions in the form of oral/poster presentations are invited in the field of Zoological Sciences.
Scope of the Conference
“National Conference on Recent Trends in Zoological Research in North East India” is being organized to showcase recent advances in the state of art research work in the field of zoological sciences in the Eastern and North-Eastern India The conference aims to increase interactions among researchers of the Eastern and North Eastern region, and to identify the fast emerging frontiers of research in the Eastern and North Eastern regions of the country.
Call for Abstracts:
Abstracts (in English) for oral and poster presentation may be sent to the Organising Secretary latest by February 28, 2018. Abstracts should be prepared using MS Word (Times New Roman, single spacing, font size 12) not to exceed beyond 400 words. Title and Author(s)’ name(s) should be in bold letters, font size- 12, with presenter’s name underlined and with full address with E-mail ID. No diagrams, figures, tables and references are to be added in the abstract. Abstracts should be sent via e-mail (ramanujamsunkam@gmail.com & akynehu@hotmail.com) and the hard copy should be sent by post along with the Registration form and Accommodation form to the Organising Secretary.
Abstracts will be accepted only from registered delegates.
Registration

The Registration fee will include the conference materials, access to all sessions, and the official breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and snacks, etc. Accompanying members are entitled to enjoy all the facilities applicable to the delegates except conference materials and participation certificate.
Accommodation
Registered delegates will be accommodated with nominal charge in the University Guest Houses during the duration of the Conference. Those delegates, who wish to stay beyond the Conference, will have to bear boarding and lodging charges themselves subject to availability of rooms in the concerned guest House. Hotel accommodation may be arranged on request and availability. Room tariff ranges from Rs.2,000/- to Rs.6,000/- per double room per night.
