Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up a position at National Institute of
Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
(i) One position of Project Fellow against DST funded project entitled “Characterization of
transglycosylases enzyme associated with cell wall biogenesis in vancomycin resistant
Staphylococcus aureus strains”,
PI: Dr Vasundhra Bhandari, DST-Inspire Faculty. (Duration - 1
year initially and is extendable subject to annual review and is co-terminus with the duration
of the project).
Essential qualification: M.Sc Life Sciences (including Veterinary Science/ Biotechnology/
Biochemistry/ Microbiology, etc.). However Non - NET candidates can also apply who will be paid
as per their eligibility.
Desirable qualification: Candidates with experience in infectious diseases, gene editing,
genomics, proteomics, microbiology and molecular biology will be preferred.
Fellowship amount: Rs.12000/-PM+30% HRA = 15,600/- PM as per the DST guidelines.
Age: 30 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per
Government instructions)

15 Mar 2018 and the last date is 02 April 2018 by 5 PM.
Candidates must fill online application form at www.niab.org.in. Candidates are advised to fill the
online application form in sufficient time before the last date to avoid last minute technical
issues.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview prior to selection. TA/DA will not be
paid for attending the interview.
