A position for a Laboratory assistant is available in the research group of Dr. Arnab Gupta, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Biological Science, IISER Kolkata. The duty involves regular maintenance of laboratory stocks, stock entry and ordering.
1. Title of project: Mechanistic studies on trafficking of human copper ATPase ATP7B
2. Funding agency: Early Career Research Award (SERB-DST)
3. Principle investigator: Dr. Arnab Gupta, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Biological Sciences
4. Remuneration. Rs.10,000 consolidated
5. Tenure: 12 months, with possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance
6. Basic Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any subject with at least 3 years of experience as a laboratory attendant.
7. How to apply: Walk in interview on 7th May 2018 (1PM) in the Conference room (2nd floor) of the Department of Biological Sciences, Research Complex. Eligible candidates should carry two copies of their detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV), self-attested copies of marksheets and certificates from Std. XII onwards, and a brief covering letter.
8. Conditions: No TA / DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview. The decision of the selection committee will be final. The selected candidate may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of tenure, if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
