qualifications
1. With Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in
Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Physiology/
Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Biochemistry/
Reproduction/ Microbiology or Life Sciences in
relevant subject with 1st Division or 60% marks or
equivalent overall grade point average with at least
two years of research experience as evidenced
from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other
engagements. Published research papers will be
desirable.
2. Ph.D. degree in the above mentioned subjects.
7 Desirable: Experience of cell/tissue culture/IVF/ cloned embryo
culture/stem cells culture/molecular biology.
8 Age (upper age limit) Maximum 40 years for male candidates and 45 years
for female candidates as on date of interview.
Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.

Master’s degree in the discipline Biotechnology/

Life Sciences with 4 years / 5 Years of Bachelor
Degree.
Candidates having post graduate degree in above
subjects in Basic Sciences with three years Bachelor’s
Degree and two years Master’s degree should have
NET qualification as mentioned in the OM SR/S9/Z09/2012
of DST dated 21/10/2014
