Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following position in National Mission on
Himalayan Studies (NMHS) funded collaborative research project between Sikkim University
(SU) and Himali Vikas Sansthan, West Sikkim (HVS):
Title of the project: “Conservation Promotion and Intensification of Local crop landraces of
germplasm for Livelihood of Organic Farmers in Sikkim”.
Junior Research Fellow:
(JRF @ Rs.25,000/- + HRA
8% per month for first two
years and RS.28,000/- +
HRA 8% for third year

Breeding with ASRBNET/
CSIR- NET
Non-NET candidates

Project Fellow (JPF).
Fellowship for JPF will be

Field based positions in
the project sites at ten

rural area are preferred.
Duration: Initially for one year but extendable upto three years or up to the termination of
project whichever is earlier, subject to annual performance review.
