A walk-in interview will be held for temporary position of One (01) Research Associate (RA) under the DBT Project
entitled “Establishment of Institutional Level Biotech Hubs (IBThubs) by DBT under Special Programme for North
Eastern States of India under the ‘Institutional Level Biotech Hubs (IBThubs), (Advanced Level)” under Dr. Shashi
Baruah, Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Tezpur University. Interested candidates may
appear before the interview board with original and self-attested photocopies of mark sheets, certificates from 10th
standard onwards, testimonials, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, NET/GATE/BET or similar
examination qualifications and a copy of recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) on the day of interview. Interested

Essential Qualifications: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design
and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation
Indexed (SCI) journal.
Fellowship: Rs. 36,000/- (Rupees thirty six thousand) only plus 10% HRA as admissible per month as per DBT
guidelines.
Age Limit: Candidate shall not be more than 40 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed
as per Government of India rules.
Duration: Initially for a period of one (01) year and extendable till completion of the project based on the performance
of the candidate or until further order, whichever is earlier.
N.B. (1) No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate from the concerned
employer / Ph.D. Supervisor.
