Advertisement for the post of SRF – Narayana Nethralaya, Bangalore
Applications are invited from interested candidates to work as a Senior Research Fellow (1Position) under Dr. Koushik Chakrabarty on a Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India funded project entitled “Gene editing and cellular reprogramming for treating macular corneal dystrophy”. The position is purely on a temporary basis for a period of three years.
Name of the fellowship: Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Research project: “Gene editing and cellular reprogramming for treating macular corneal
dystrophy”
Duration: Initially for one year and can be extended by two more years.
Fellowship: As per DBT norms.
Qualifications:M.Sc. in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences/Bio medical Science or related field
Experience: Minimum two years of laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture with strong background in DNA manipulation and standard molecular and biochemistry methodologies.
Candidates with publications will be given preference.
