Applications on plain paper giving personal details, academic qualifications, work experience etc. are invited from eligible candidates for the purely temporary positions of JRF/JPF and Field Assistant available in the research project “Invasive Alien Plants in Himalayas: Status, Ecological impact and Management” funded by the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate change under its NMHS programme. All the position are purely temporary for a period of 03 (three) years and co-terminus with the project and initial engagement will be for a period of one year and extension in the engagement will be considered on the basis of performance. 

Junior Research Fellow 

M.Sc Botany with at least 55% marks at Masters level. 

Rs. 25000/- fixed for JRF (NET qualified) Rs.16000/-fixed for JPF (Non-NET qualified) 

1. Kashmir Himalaya and Ladakh (Shall work under Prof. Zafar A Reshi/Drs M.A Shah and Aijaz H Ganie) 

2. Jammu and adjoining areas of Himachal Pradesh (Shall work under Prof. Namrata Sharma) 

Applications along with photocopies of certificates/ transcripts and other documents indicating qualification, percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, age and experience in the relevant field (if any), must reach the office of the undersigned in the Department of Botany, University of Kashmir by or before 19-06-2018.
