Applications are invited for the position (s) of Junior Research Fellow (Project) & Senior Research Fellow (Project) for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below: 

1. “J. C. Bose Fellowship” funded by SERB Tenable till – 28.02.2021 

Junior Research Fellow (Project) (One Position Only) & Senior Research Fellow (Project) (One Position Only)

Educational Qualifications: 

Junior Research Fellow (Project): M.Sc in Life Sciences. The candidates should also have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (NET), as per DST guidelines 
Senior Research Fellow (Project): M.Sc in Life Sciences with two years of research experience. The candidates should also have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ (NET), as per DST guidelines 

Emoluments: The selected candidates may be placed in any of the below categories depending upon qualification & experience. 
Junior Research Fellow (Project): Rs. 25,000/- per month plus 30% HRA 
Senior Research Fellow (Project): Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA (As per DST OM dated 21.10.2014) 

Job description & Desired Knowledge: The candidate should have good experience in vaccine development, cloning, recombinant proteins, animal handling, cell culture, transfection techniques with siRNA, qPCR, Western blot, ELISA, matrigel invasion assay, proliferation assay, apoptosis assay, miRNA and their target validation. The incumbent should have sound theoretical knowledge of cell biology with special reference to cell invasion, signalling pathways and miRNA analysis and validation.
