WALK - IN - INTERVIEW
Applications are invited for Senior Research Fellow (One) to select the candidate for the DBT project entitled “RNAi-mediated disruption of Caffeoyl-CoA O-Methyltransferase (CCoAOMT) or Cinnamyl Alcohol Dehydrogenase (CAD) to down-regulate lignin contents in the shoots of Wild Sugarcane (Saccharum spontaneum L.)”. QUALIFICATION :
a) M.Sc. in Plant Biotechnology / Plant Biology / Botany / Life Sciences with minimum 55% marks (NET qualified candidates will be eligible for PhD registration).
b) Two years of research experience with minimum one research publication.
DESIRABLE : Specialization in plant tissue culture.
Monthly Salary Rs.28,000/- + 30% HRA p.m.
Date of Interview 12-09-2018
Age limit : 32 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation of age admissible for SC/ST & OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms.
Instructions to the candidates
a) Interview registration will begin at 10.00 am and will close at 1.00 pm on 12-09-2018
b) The candidates should bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, one set of photocopies of certificates, research/training experience certificates if any, NOC from the current employer, and latest passport size photograph at the time of interview.
c) The above positions are purely temporary and coterminous with the project.
d) No TA/DA for any candidate to attend the interview.
e) The PI’s decision will be final and binding in all aspects regarding the selection to the post.
f) Appointment will be for one year and further extension will be granted based on the research progress and accomplishments subjected to annual review (Project duration:3 years).
