Applications are invited for a purely temporary post of Junior Research Fellow in a project funded by DBT-NERBPMC entitled  “Study of Virome, RNAome and leaf curl disease manifestation in Bhut jolokia (C. chinense) and C. frutescens of North East India 
Eligibility/Qualification required: M.Sc in any branch of biological sciences/ Bioinformatics
The candidate should be CSIR/UGC/NET/GATE qualified. However candidates graduated with subjects in which no NET exam is conducted and with professional degrees are exempted for NET/GATE (As per DST/DBT rule)
Desirable: Candidates with prior experience of working in transcriptomes /non coding RNAs analysis, marker genotyping (SSRs/SNP), plant metabolite analysis, Protein extraction and analysis, Basic molecular Biology and plant pathology areas.
Fellowship amount: Rs 25,000/ + Permissible House Rent Allowance
Tenure: The position is purely temporary, renewable after every one year and will continue until March 2021 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.
