Walk in Interview for selection of Young Professional I & II 1. 

Name of Project : Network Project on “Ornamental fish breeding and Culture” (NPOFBC) 

2. Name of posts : Young professional I & II (YP I and YP II) 

3. Number of vacancies : Two at Mumbai and one at Kolkata 

4. Emoluments : YP I (one): Consolidated Pay : Rs. 15,000/- per month. YP II (two): Consolidated Pay : Rs. 25,000/- per month. 

5. Date and time of walk-in- interview : 17.12.2018 (11:00 AM) 

6. Venue : ICAR-CIFE, Mumbai 

7. Duration of the post : The position is purely on temporary basis, up to March 2020 or till termination of project whichever is earlier and also based on performance of the candidate. 

8. Nature of work : Freshwater ornamental fish breeding, larval rearing and live feed culture. Also involves extensive travel to collect live broodstock and other necessary items for the project. 

9. Age : Minimum 21 years for YP I and II and maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC) 

10. Educational qualification (Essential ) : YP I: BFSc with minimum of 55% mark (General/OBC) (SC /ST 50%) YP II: MFSc Aquaculture./ M.Sc. Zoology with minimum of 55% mark (General/OBC) (SC /ST 50%) 

11. Desirable qualification : 1 year experience in Ornamental fish rearing/ breeding /Live feed culture (micro algae and zooplankton) & working knowledge in computer and computational analysis with statistical software such as SPSS or SAS.
