The Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record
for the following positions purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded
project:

Minimum educational
Qualification & Experience
Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences or relevant
specialization.
Candidates, who have submitted their thesis but
have not yet received their degrees, may also apply.
Candidate must have at least one peer reviewed
international publication from his / her Ph.D.
Experience:
3 years or more of neuroscience research experience
is mandatory (computational or experimental)
Preference Candidates having experience in stereotaxic surgery,
neuroanatomy, neurophysiology or research
experience with birds would be preferred
Tenure of the appointment Up to July 31, 2019
Consolidated emoluments 1) Rs. 36,000/- + 30% HRA per month
2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis, but
not completed defense (i.e. candidates without a
provisional certificate of having qualified for the
degree), will be designated as SRF and paid Rs.
28,000/- + 30% HRA till the time of submission of
Provisional Ph.D. certificate.
