JRF and SRF positions in Immuno-oncology projects at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore

We are seeking qualified and committed candidates with a keen interest in cutting-edge research in Cancer Biology, Immunology, Precision medicine, Clinical Research and Translational Sciences for the JRF and SRF positions to actively engage in ongoing research activities in the area of immune-oncology.

The Centre of System Biology and Molecular Medicine (CSBMM; http://csbmm.yenepoya.edu.in/publications.php).), Yenepoya Research Centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore is developing into a premier center for Genomic and Proteomic investigations in Human Diseases. Scientists at CSBMM is collaborating with a team of clinicians from Yenepoya Medical College and Hospital in research using cutting edge technologies in the field of phosphoproteomics, multi-PTMs, metabolomics, and bioinformatics on cancers and infectious diseases. Selected JRFs/SRFs will be trained in cutting edge technologies including patient-derived xenograft models, organoids, tumoroids, biomarkers, discovery and targeted high-resolution mass spectrometry. These projects will be led by oncosurgeons, medical oncologists and proteomics experts.  JRFs and SRFs will also be encouraged to register for the Ph.D. program at Yenepoya. JRFs and SRFs are also expected to be authoring manuscripts and patents arising out of their research work.

Qualifications for JRF:

1.     Post-graduation in life sciences

2.     Candidates secured JRF funding from CSIR-UGC, DBT, ICMR or BINC will be preferred

Qualifications for SRF:

1.     M.Sc. or M.Tech in any field of Life Sciences

2.     M. Pharm, MD, and MDS qualified candidates.

3.     Two years research experience and minimum 1 publication in any peer-reviewed journal
