Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SERB funded research project entitled
“Transdifferentiation of mesenchymal stem cells into functional neurons on biodegrabdable nanomaterial
scaffolds” with reference to the sanction letter no- File No. EEQ/2018/000486 dated: 01.01.2019. The duly completed
application on prescribed format along with copies of supporting documents must reach to Dr. Sangeeta Singh,
Department of Applied Sciences, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, Devghat, Jhalwa,
Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India 211015 on or before 04/04/2019. The envelope should be superscribed as
“Application for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) along with the Advt. no”. A soft copy of the
application should also be sent to sangeeta@iiita.ac.in (PI of the project).

Fellowship Duration : Initially for one year and extendable up to two years on performance basis
Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years as on 01/04/2019
Essential Qualifications: M. Sc./M.Tech in biotechnology/ biochemistry/ life science/ biomedical science or
equivalent with good academic record.
Desirable Qualifications: A GATE/NET or similar other national level ranking, experience in cell culture handling
and molecular biology techniques.
Fellowship: 25000/-pm (Fixed)
