A walk-in-interview is scheduled on 04-04-2019 at 11.00 am at ICAR-Indian Veterinary
Research Institute, Eastern Regional Station, 37, Belgachia Road, Kolkata-700037, West
Bengal for engagement of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the “DBT network
programme on bovine tuberculosis control: Mycobacterial diseases in animals network
(MyDAN) programme”, purely on contract basis. The position is purely temporary in nature
and may be terminated at any time in case of unsatisfactory performance. There will be no
provision for absorption/re-employment in ICAR-IVRI/ DBT.
Educational Qualifications:
Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Life Sciences/ Microbiology/
Biotechnology) with NET qualification or graduate degree in Professional Course
(B.V.Sc.&A.H.) with NET qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course
(M.V.Sc.)
Desirable: Experience in molecular and epidemiological techniques and handling of large
animals and cultures of infectious diseases.
Age limit: Age limit and relaxation applicable as per Govt. Rule.
Emoluments: Rs.25000 + HRA as applicable
