Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National
Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad against DST-SERB funded project entitled
“Immunocharacterization of Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) from Leptospira: Towards development of
LPS based vaccine”, PI: Dr. Syed Mohd Faisal, Scientist-E.
Fellowship amount: Rs.28000/-+30% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines.
One position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF):
Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree in life sciences with NET qualification or Post Graduate degree in
professional course plus two-year research experience preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per
DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated 21.10.2014). However Non NET candidates can also apply who
will be paid as per their eligibility.
Candidate with 2 years experience molecular biology and
Immunological techniques and animal (mice, hamster) handling is desirable. Candidates having
prior experience in working with Leptospira will be preferred.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government
instructions)
