Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for
the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India sponsored
project on "Phylogenomics and biogeography of the genus Dioscorea L. (Dioscoreaceae in India"
tenable at SANDIP UNIVERSITY NASHIK for
3 years.
Minimum qualification: M.Sc. (Botany) with minimum of 60% marks
or equivalent CGPA; CSIR JRF/NET
qualified candidates will be given preference.
Candidates with good academic record, field
work ability, basic skills in plant taxonomy with applied techniques used in
biology, good English communication and writing skills are desirable.
Amount of fellowship: For CSIR-JRF/NET or GATE qualified candidates
Rs 25000 + HRA (20%). In case of non CSIR-JRF candidate Rs. 22000
(consolidate).
