TRAINING PROGRAM IN REPROGRAMMING HUMAN SOMATIC CELLS TO INDUCED PLURIPOTENT STEM CELLS 

CALL FOR PARTICIPATION 

Call outline: The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem) is organizing a workshop on Reprogramming Human Somatic Cells to induced pluripotent stem cells (HiPSCs). 



This workshop aims to expand the expertise for stem cell research in India and focuses on techniques involved in generation and maintenance of high quality HiPSCs from human somatic cells. Participants will be trained on all aspects of reprogramming, culture and characterization of stem cell lines. The course combines hands on training sessions and lectures from experts in the field. 

Who can apply: Postgraduates in a relevant discipline (biosciences) interested in gaining practical experience in HiPSC culture techniques. 

Selection procedure: An expert committee will screen the applications and the selection is based on qualification, current research, and a statement on the requirement of expertise from this training program for ongoing research and future prospects.
