A walk-in-interview will be held on 28 May 2019 (Tuesday) at 10.30 A.M in the Department of Environmental Science,
Tezpur University for one (01) temporary position of Junior Research Fellow in Department of Science and Technology
(DST)-Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) sponsored research project entitled "Ecohygrological
assessment of eutrophicated water bodies - monitoring algal blooms (algal toxins), water quality and developing
techniques to reduce eutrophication" under Principal Investigator Dr. Nayanmoni Gogoi, Department of
Environmental Science, Tezpur University, Assam.
Qualifications: M.Sc. in Fisheries Science / Life Sciences / Environmental Science / Zoology / Botany / Biochemistry
and allied sciences from a recognized institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate having NETJRF/GATE qualification.
Desirable: Candidate having prior research experience in the field of fisheries sciences, life sciences and molecular
biological techniques with knowledge of fishes, phytoplankton and zooplankton.
Age: Candidate shall not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview. Upper age limit may be relaxed as per
Government of India rules.
Fellowship: Rs. 31,000/- (Rupees thirty-one thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 1st and 2nd year
and Rs. 35,000/- (Rupees thirty-five thousand) only plus HRA as admissible per month for the 3rd year.
Duration: Three (03) years or till completion of the project or until further order.

any), a recent signed Curriculum Vitae (CV) and two recent passport size photographs on the day of interview.
Note:
(1) No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
(2) Those in employment or doing Ph.D. must submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the concerned employer / Ph.D.
