Name of the Position One position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in
DBT-funded project “Global perspective of transcriptome,
proteome and metabolome of root-knot nematode
effectors conferring host specificity and host response to
them during disease development”.

Essential Qualifications Post graduate degree in basic sciences with NET
qualification/graduate degree in professional course with
NET qualification/post graduate degree in professional
course.
Service Conditions The service conditions of the selected person will be
governed by the DST OM: SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated January
30, 2019.
Emoluments 25,000 + permissible HRA. The candidate will be offered
revised rates after getting the approval and the required
funding from DBT.

Name of the Position Research Associate (One position) in ICAR-NASF funded
project “Identification of superior donors and alleles for
spikelet fertility and grain chalkiness under thermal stress
in rice”.
Place of work Department of Botany, University of Delhi North Campus
Essential Qualifications Ph.D in any relevant area of Biological Sciences or Master’s
degree in the relevant subject with 1st division or 60% marks
or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two
years of research experience as evidenced from
Fellowship/Associateship/ Training /other engagements.
Published research papers will be desirable.
Desirable Experience Candidates having experience with marker-trait association
either in biparental mapping populations and GWAS will be
preferred. The project responsibilities will include
multiplication of the germplasm, collaborate with other
project partners for phenotyping, performing GWAS with
the phenotypic data, compiling and communicating the
data.
Upper Age Limit 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
Emoluments Maximum allowed Rs 55,000 consolidated. However, based
on the experience in the relevant area the offered
emoluments might be less.
