Walk-in Interview will be conducted for following assignment in a time bound research project entitled “Integrated solar –photocatalytic and biological treatment of pharmaceutical waste water” (Code: SR/19/BM/013) in the Dept. of Biotechnology & Medical Engineering, NIT Rourkela on 21st June, 2019 (Friday) and Time 9:00 A.M. 

1. Name of the Temporary Post: Junior Research Fellow (1 post) 

2. Name of the Research Project: Integrated solar –photocatalytic and biological treatment of pharmaceutical waste water 

3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency: DST, Govt. of India 

4. Tenure of the Project: 3 Years 

5. Tenure of the Assignment: 3 Years 

6. Job Description: Isolation and characterization of pharmaceutical waste degrading bacteria, their degradation kinetics, degradation optimization, reactor design and performance evaluation 

7. Consolidated monthly Salary/ Fellowship: Rs. 31,000./- per month for 1st two years and 35,000/- per month for last year 

8. Essential Qualifications and experience: B. Tech with GATE//M. Tech degree in Biotech with specialization in Biotechnology,/ Environmental Engineering/ Environmental Biotechnology, 

9. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences : Experience on Molecular Biology, Environmental Biotechnology with expertise in the area of degradation study and Microbiology is desirable. 

10. Selection Process Written test and interview by the selection committee.
