CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru a constituent national laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 1 (One) position of Senior Research Fellow, initially for a period of one year or till the project is over on a temporary contractual basis in the project entitled “Effect of lactoferrin and plant ferritin based dietary supplements for enhancing the bioavailability of iron to treat irondeficiency anemia”(GAP-0556) funded by ICMR, New Delhi, tenable at the Department of Fruit and Vegetable Technology, CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore, Karnataka. 

Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Life Science/Food Science with NET/GATE/equivalent exams and two years of research experience with good academic records OR 
First class M Tech. in Biotechnology/Food Technology and two years of research experience with good academic records 

Desirable: Experience in protein purification techniques and biochemical assays. 

Emoluments: Rs.28,000/-(Rupees Twenty Eight Thousand only) plus 20% HRA per month.
