Vacancy for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in ICMR Project

Applications are invited from young and motivated candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an ICMR-funded ad-hoc research grant on “Evaluation of Regulation of Programmed Death-Ligand 1 (PD-L1) Expression by MicroRNA in Lung Cancer” in the Dept. of Medical Oncology, Dr. BRA IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow – One Post

Duration of the Project: Three (03) years starting August, 2019

Salary: Rs. 31,000 + 7,440.00 (24% HRA) = Rs. 38,440.00 per month


Masters in any branch of life sciences/biotechnology with >60% marks or equivalent CGPA. NET-JRF/LS and GATE qualified candidates will be preferred.

Desirable Qualifications: Hands-on experience of animal cell culture, processing of human tissue and blood samples and knowledge of molecular biology techniques, such as DNA/RNA purification, qPCR and immunoblotting. Proficiency in computers is highly desirable.
