University Delhi Plant Molecular Biology JRF Vacancy


Applications on plain paper/or by email are invited from eligible candidates for post of JRF for the following two projects. 

1. DBT funded research project [BT/PR20657/BPA/118/206/2016], PI: Dr. Yashwanti Mudgil, project start date 19th February 2018. 

Title of the Project: Root Development Related Signaling Networks: Role of At Nmyc Downregulated Like Proteins and Interacting Partners

2. SERB-funded research project [EMR/2017/003621], PI: Dr. Girish Mishra, project start date 19th March 2019. 

Title of the project: Phosphatidic acid-Protein interactions: molecular mechanism and role during abiotic stress in Arabidopsis

Eligibility: Candidates with M.Sc. degree in Botany/Life Sciences and other allied subjects with minimum 55% marks and having NET qualifications. Candidate having Master’s degree after 2015 would be given preference. 

Candidate with prior experience in plant molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology techniques is desirable. 

Duration of Project: 3 years, from date of starting of project as mentioned above. 

Fellowship: As per Funding agency/DU rules.
