This is with reference to an opening for one (1 Nos) JRF position in DST funded project "Development of ceramic water filters using nano-science and indigenous knowledge of potters’ community in West Bengal " for three year duration at the department of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Banasthali Vidyapith.

Brief description of the Project objective are as follows:


i) Development and characterization of nanoparticles for arsenic removal
ii) Design, Development and characterization of ceramic filter outer layer with consultation potters’ community
iii) Prototype development of the complete process filter and lab and onsite testing
iv) Technology showcase and dissemination of technology to potters’ community through workshop and training


Eligibility:

M.Sc./M.Tech. in any branch of Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science Chemistry with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from UGC recognized University/Institute and candidate (only female) should have qualified any ‘National Level Examination’ as per DST OM dated 30.01.2019.



Fellowship amount:
Rs. 25,000/- per month for first two years and Rs. 28,000/- per month for third year, Plus HRA as per norms if accommodation is not provided by institute.


Workers must become habitual wearer of Khadi on appointment.
