Doctoral and Postdoctoral Position in South Korea : Cancer Biology


One Doctoral and Postdoctoral Position in South Korea is available at the National Cancer Center, Ilsan, Republic of Korea (South Korea); Prof. Mi Kyung Kim. The research area mainly includes cancer molecular epidemiology, cancer microbiome, signalling and molecular biology.



The work includes investigations on the interaction of genes with the risk of cancer (such as breast and cervical) using methods like SNPs analysis, validation, and molecular profiling. Candidate may also take part in other projects like investigations on the role of microbiome in cancer progression and designing therapeutic strategies.



For Doctoral position:

Candidate should have awarded with M.Sc./M.S. in Biological/Medical Sciences with sound score. International English Language tests are preferred yet not compulsory.

Fellowship: about 24,000 USD per annum (equivalent South Korean Won).

Upon satisfactory performance the candidate will be provided chance for PhD degree.




For Post-Doctoral position:


Candidate should have awarded with Ph.D. degree in Biological/Medical Sciences with experience but limited in above mentioned areas. Publications in above areas is requisite. International English Language tests are preferred yet not compulsory.

Fellowship: about 32,000 USD per annum (equivalent South Korean Won).

Salary and benefits are commensurate with academic qualification.
