National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India, is looking for prospective candidates for Junior Research Fellow to work alongwith the Ramalinga Fellowship scholar for the DBT sponsored project “Development of indigenous Yeast Platform for Bio synthesis of plant derived natural products by metabolic engineering approaches” on contract basis, for fixed tenure. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility conditions are invited to attend a walk-in-interview at National Institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai.

Qualification required Essential:
Master Degree in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology or M.Tech in Biotechnology and selected through a process described any one of the following
(a) scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR – UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) AND GATE
(b) the selection process through National level examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institution such as DST, DBT, DAE, IISER and ICMR.
